Credits, payments and billing.
Orbeüss operates without a mandatory subscription. Users top up a balance in EUR or USD, and that balance is then consumed according to actual usage.
1. Top-up amounts
Available top-ups may include 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 or 500 EUR, as well as 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 or 500 USD. €10 paid before tax provides €10 in Orbeüss credits; the same principle applies in USD.
2. Account currency
Orbeüss may automatically suggest EUR or USD based on the user's context. The user may choose a currency before the first purchase. After the first purchase, the account's primary currency is retained to maintain consistent accounting.
3. Taxes
Applicable taxes are calculated based on the customer's location and status. The top-up amount corresponds to the pre-tax value of the credits; required taxes are added separately where required by law. For consumers, the total amount payable, including taxes, is clearly displayed before final payment confirmation.
For certain businesses with a valid VAT number, VAT-free invoicing with reverse charge may apply where legally permitted.
4. Activation
Credits are added to the account immediately after payment confirmation and become available for use without delay.
5. Validity and transfer
Orbeüss credits do not expire. They are linked to the account to which they were credited and cannot be transferred to another account.
6. Consumption
Each use of Orbeüss consumes part of the balance depending on the model, tool, duration, data volume and resources required. Usage multipliers and rates may change. Any change applies to future usage and does not retroactively reduce the nominal balance already purchased.
7. Invoices
An invoice or payment receipt is generated after each top-up and may be made available in the account. Documents show the pre-tax amount, any applicable taxes, the total amount paid and the currency.
8. Withdrawal rights and immediate performance
Where applicable law provides a right of withdrawal for a digital service, the user may be asked, before payment, to expressly request immediate performance of the service and acknowledge the consequences that such performance may have on the right of withdrawal. Mandatory consumer rights remain applicable.
9. Refunds
Purchased credits are generally non-refundable, subject to applicable mandatory rights. A duplicate payment, billing error or issue attributable to Orbeüss may result in a refund to the original payment method. Credit consumption caused by a technical error may result in the affected credits being restored.
10. Account deletion
If the user voluntarily deletes the account, any remaining credits are lost and are not refunded, subject to applicable mandatory rights. A warning is displayed before deletion.
11. Payment provider
Payments are processed by Stripe. Available payment methods may vary by country. The bank statement descriptor may appear under the ORBEUSS brand.
